Details: This is a truely stunning album and absolutely perfect for any special occasion, where quality is a must. The Leather cover has a distressed finish and the strong contrasting stitching gives additional interest, as does the spine leather, which has been added after the cover which means the stitching goes up the front and back of the cover. The spine leather has five raised ridges across it so the album will be really smart on the shelf. The rounded edges of the cover along with the natural leather finish, gives the album a soft feel and the bookbound high quality card pages are made from top quality parchment paper, with jagged edges and are acid free. The acid free glassine interleaves are glossy sheets that offer terrific protection to the photographs inside when the album is closed and they have a lovely self pattern on them, which again, just adds to the quality feel of the album. The useable area of the pages in this album are approximately 11.5 x 12.25 inches, and although it would accomodate an A4 size photo, it may look at bit cramped. Perfect for 6×4, 7×5, 8×6, 9×6 and 10×8 inch photos, they are fixed into the album using photo corners, double sided mounts or spray mount, giving a professional finish. The album has its own plain, corregated card box, which is strong and looks really smart as it has a recycled feel. Great for additional protection, it will keep the album safe from knocks and dust and although it isn’t very glamourous it will certainly ensure that the album is kept clean. Its almost worth buying this album, just to open the box and smell the leather!
