• We’ve made it easy and fun to learn to gold plate chrome items like automotive emblems, bath fixtures, household appliances etc. We include extensive start-up and training materials and have a wide range of training videos available. We also provide technical assistance by telephone or email.
• This kit includes a wide range of preparation solutions required for gold plating onto chrome items, stainless steel, mild steel, and most copper alloys. Including (1) 16 oz. bottle of the following solutions: Chrome Stripping Solution, Surface Activator Solution (Nickel Activator), & Wood’s Nickel Strike Solution.
• This Kit also includes 8 oz. of 24K Brush Gold Solution containing fine gold. This is enough gold solution to plate more than 100 of the type of car emblems shown in the photos. At $30 to $50 retail value per emblem this kit can produce $3,000 to $5,000 retail revenue. During the winter months the gel will be shipped in at separate package via mail.

Details: The Universal Plater – Chrome Edition Is a great machine for those who want to plate onto chrome plated surfaces. This machine will accomplish all that our Universal Plater But allows you to remove existing chrome surfaces. This machine comes with the ability to go in and out of the chrome stripping mode, which requires a reverse polarity. It has an increased power supply of 12 volts and 10 amperes. This will help decrease the amount of time you need to spend stripping the chrome off an item so that you can gold plate it. It is also designed to have a safety function that will de-active the activator and plating ports when in the chrome stripping mode so that you don’t ruin your plating job if you fail to switch back to the plating mode.
