The base and activator have low viscosities for easy pouring. Use the simple 1:1 mix ratio for a rubber material that exhibits:

Cast-a-Mold Platinum is easy to use and complies with FDA guidelines. This material cures at room temperature, but you can also use heat acceleration. Heating your molds at 150 degrees can cut the curing time from 8 hours to 45 minutes.
Wash cured molds with soap and warm water before use, especially for food applications. Addition-cured silicone rubber can be inhibited by some materials which can leave the surface uncured and tacky. Avoid using nitriles, amines, clays with a sulfur base, and silicone rubber cured with latex or tin. You should test the material you want to use. Coating your mold with a clear acrylic lacquer can also be helpful.
