Tuned to C Major, the Chimalong can be played by number, color or notes. A xylophone-style instrument made with world famous Woodstock Chimes tubes, the Chimalong comes with an extra #7 tube, which changes the B (for key of C) to B flat (for key of F), giving greater musical flexibility. Also comes with two mallets & color coded songbook. The Chimalong is a multi award winner: Parents Choice Classic Award and Oppenheim Award Winner. Fascinated by the Scale of Olympos, a 7th century pentatonic scale that can’t be played on a modern piano, Garry cut and tuned the lawn chair tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale.
